Worship is good for the soul

Church services have been held on this property since we put the first building up in 2012. In the beginning the church met on the front porch of the clinic. This was difficult in the rainy season. Currently the church meets in one of the classrooms but it is too small. Our Sunday school programs bring in over 100 kids. We do not have a big enough room to put them in. It's time to build a church building and find a full time non-denominational pastor.

The church should be the hands and feet of God. Finding and helping those in our area who are in desperate need should be the job of the church family. This is difficult without a building or a Pastor. Nabisoto needs a good church. Witchcraft and superstition are common and “prophets” go around telling villagers that God gave them a message to go here or there. Uneducated people are very vulnerable and they will spend money to curse someone or to get a curse removed instead of buying their own children food. Many spend their lives in fear instead of freedom that can only be found in Jesus.

The volunteers running In The Field Ministries are Christians. ITFM has no specific affiliation with any church denomination. We believe the Apostles Creed. We love all people who belong to the human race and do not look at any other factors in our students or the people we serve.
